How To Make A Shutdown Timer!
********** METHOD 1 ***************

1.    Right click on your desktop and choose "New=>shortcuts".

2.    In the box that says "Type the location of the shortcut",
type in "shutdown -s -t 3600" without the quotation marks and click next. Note: 3600 are the amount of seconds before your computer shuts down. So , 60secs*60mins=3600secs.

3.    Make up a name for the shortcut and you're done.
You can change the icon by right clicking=>properities=>change icon=>browse

TO ABORT:
To make an abort key to stop the shutdown timer just create another shortcut and make
the "location of the shortcut" to " shutdown -a" without the quotes.
********* METHOD 2 *************
Here is another trick to shutdown at a specific time, for example you wish to shutdown at 11:35am. Type this in

start=>Run
Type Code: at 11:35 shutdown -s

TO ABORT:
Code:shutdown -a

2. Save the notepad file as lock.bat (.bat is must)

3. Now double click on lock.bat and a new folder will be created with name MyFolder.

4. Copy all your data you want to protect in that New folder.

5. Now double click on lock.bat and when command promp appears Type Y and press enter.

6. Now MyFolder will be hidden from you view, to access that folde double click on lock.bat...

7. It will ask for password enter your password and done. (Default password is hacktheuniverse)

The fact that it is so simple is because Windows 8,7 and Windows Vista both comes with a function called "ReadyBoost" which allows us to use our USB as System Virtual Memory. There is nothing much to do here. Just insert the Formatted Pen drive, Select Properties and go to the "ReadyBoost" tab, from there select "Use This Device", select the maximum memory available and click on apply. this ought to make it as a virtual system memory.

Reason behind this:
The VLC player has a capacity to boost the volume upto 200-400%. The speakers installed on notebooks are of 4 Ohms speakers and can take volume only upto 100%. In case there is any rise in volume above 100%,the brass caps on the speakers are burnt which in turn damages the speakers.
Hence, it is not covered under warranty.
You can use any other player...... but not vlc.

Tips for creating a secure password:

Include punctuation marks and/or numbers.
Mix capital and lowercase letters.

Create a unique acronym.
Include phonetic replacements, such as 'Luv 2 Laf' for 'Love to Laugh'.

Things to avoid:
